PDF Popup Viewer – All Products
Users can now display PDF files directly in the search results in an overlay popup page by clicking on a new Kona-native PDF popup action button in the result row. When clicked, it will display in the popup the row’s corresponding PDF file. Users can resize the popup and move it around the screen, and it will stay above the search page until the user closes it. Clicking on another row’s PDF popup action button will place its PDF in the popup, overwriting the previous one. Users can also zoom in and out to resize the PDF, rotate the PDF, and search words in the PDF using their computer’s standard find function (Ctrl-F for Windows, command-F for MacOS).
Details Popup Viewer – All Products
Users can now display a record’s detailed field values in an overlay popup page by clicking on a new Kona-native details popup action button in the result row. When clicked, it will display in the popup a tabular list of the record’s fields and values, as defined by the page designer. Users can resize the popup, move it around the screen, and adjust the width of the label column. The popup will stay above the search page until the user closes it. Clicking on another row’s details popup action button will place its record’s field-value pairs in the popup, overwriting the previous set. The popup can display fields from child and parent objects, including text snippets from any attached file.

Faster Issue Response – All Products
When the user clicks the “Report an issue” button, we now include the internal developer’s ID in the report so we can respond to issues faster.
Smarter Job Description Matching – Kona Talent
Job description matching has been tweaked to reduce false positives and return more consistent, more relevant results, especially skills. A page designer can also now apply synonyms to the match. This is useful for expanding acronyms and equating similar phrases, for example, “excellent communication” and “great communication.”
